Bob Ross as a baseball announcer would've been phenomenal.

Happy little bunt there. A nice run-scoring double, isn't that pleasant? He committed an error there, but it's just an opportunity to get better. That's all we can ask for. Andrew McCutcheon's yellow ochre jersey is beautiful.

The San Jose Giants held "Christmas in July" night tonight. The same night, Pablo Sandoval made his first minor league appearance after being DFA'ed by the Red Sox.

We had a "Fail Night" several years ago on June 15, the anniversary of the Brock-Broglio trade. A guy who ran for mayor twice, but lost, threw out the first pitch. We had prizes like a Mets cap, Cubs cap, Rays cap, Custer biography, Mondale for President bumper sticker, some tee-shirts from one of the league's failed franchises, Milli Vanilli CD, etc. It was pretty funny.

And Tahoe would be a shorter trip for everybody, too.

That was "Nobody Night," which is an equally great name.

I can't remember which store it was in, but I saw a Bob Ross bobblehead just a couple days ago. It cracked me up.

In the future, everyone will have their own bobblehead — for 15 minutes.
