Goodfellas on Spike TV

I guess this network is good for something after all!

 

Movie ain't worth a damn in its edited, clean-cut, basic cable version.

 

This brings up a question I've had for a while now.

When the annoying blonde girl is on the phone with the airline (just after Henry tells her NOT TO USE THE PHONE), has anyone noticed that the airline ticket she's holding has a big, black square superimposed on it?

I wonder why that is. Someone please take a look at the DVD and let me know if you get a second.

Defintely loses punch, but a good watch edited still.

 

There are certain movies that you just can't watch edited or censored...

 

Casino on USA, for example.
Sharon Stone: "FREAK you, Sam Rothstein. FREAK you!"

Or Major League...
Dorn: I've only got one thing to say to you, Vaughn. Strike this GUY out.
Cerrano: I say, "FORGET you, Jobu. I do it myself."

 

It's been on every version of the movie I've ever seen... I'd assume it's a oops-let's-not-get-sued-by-American-Airlines thing.
