Jackie Brown (directed by Tarantino, starring: Pam Grier Robert DeNiro, Sam Jackson, Bridget Fonda, Michael Keaton, Chris Tucker) and Out of Sight (directed by Soderbergh, starring: George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Ving Rhames, Don Cheadle, Albert Brooks, Catherine Keener, Dennis Farina) immediately jumped to my mind.

Interestingly, both were based on Elmore Leonard novels.

It was such a wonderful movie. I'm always surprised when I hear that some people didn't like it.

Fucking awful ... and Tarantino is among my favorite directors. It didn't keep my attention at all and right now about the only scene I remember is Bridget Fonda smoking a joint and asking DeNiro, "So, you wanna fuck?"

Ditto. I think it was fantastic. Almost as good as Rushmore.

Jackie Brown, Royal Tennenbaums and The Departed as bad movies? Some of your need to get some serious work done on your film barometers. This thread should be reserved for truly bad movies, many of which have been named. But to include those three? That's just out of line.
