    At another online forum I'm on, it's standard practice to lock "goodbye" threads. Such threads are against the board's rules. Not that I necessarily like it, but that's just life.

    If you really need to know SoSueMe's new SN, he/she can tell the appropriate people once it's been created.

    I reported the post and Elliotte took care of it, but Moddy's right, if somebody tries to out you, get in touch with a mod. They'll take care of it as soon as they can.
