    An aside of interest only to me: I'm pretty sure Frank Pastore was the first Nashville Sound to make it to the Majors.

    He set the time record for consuming 72-ounce steak dinner at the Big Texan Steak Ranch outside Amarillo. Twice.

    It's a wonder he lived long enough to crash the motorcycle.

    You'd be correct, although I have no idea how :)D). He made his MLB debut on April 4, 1979, beating out the immortal Rafael Santo Domingo by a couple months.
