    You rarely see the classic pro set offenses any more. The NFL game is now
    more single back with extra wideout or hybrid H Back. Eddy Lacy is a bit
    of a throwback but the true power back is a thing of the past.

    Watching the clips that Xan posted it's interesting to watch the
    tackling technique. You don't see many leading with their head.
    More shoulder. Surprised that few tried to go low on Csonka. I guess
    they were afraid of getting kicked in the head.

    Come on, there is plenty of documentation on Jim Thorpe's life and career. Just because the statistics aren't reliable doesn't mean we don't know anything about him and how he compared to other players of his era.
