    ...no word if Coach Fran will be bailing out of College Station to return to the Metroplex... ;)

    I thought he would have taken Tulsa.

    SMU would be very attractive for him, also.

    If Fran leaves A & M for SMU.......eureka. How many times can you get the death penalty?

    Terry Bowden might have a shot at A&M or SMU. He wants to get back into coaching next season.

    Bowden would be a good one. I can't see Fran's attitude going over too well at SMU.

    Isn't Terry Bowden a bit, err, rusty? He hasn't coached in over 10 years, has he?

    There are several head coaches, still gainfully employed, who haven't coached in that same stretch either...

    Mason's been a talking head for Big Ten Network. He might not like being restricted to satellite.
