Giving homeless people beer

    Homeless girl: Under the free way overpass.

    I used to pony up some change. Gave it up years ago, after seeing the same people over and over and over again. Now, I think I'm considered an asshole in the local homeless community because I save those little fast food game pieces for free food and offer those when asked for change. Funny - some of the old regulars don't even ask anymore.

    The only better thing you could have done is to give a home to a beerless person.
