  1. Who holds the record for most at-bats in a season without a hit?

    Cubs/Braves pitcher Bob Buhl, who went 0-for-70 in 1962, part of an 0-for-87 (also a record) stretch that spanned three years.

    The smallest (and most unlikely) player to hit 3 home runs in one game, post-1900?

    Freddie Patek. If I recall correctly, the first drew him to withion one of Phill Rizzuto's career total, the second, tied Rizzuto, and the third passed him.

    When Bill White told him about the third one on air, I think the Scooter about had a heart attack.
