Giants had 9 in the box on goal line Colts should have thrown

It's too bad more wideouts can't be like Berry and Moore.

Moore and Mutscheller (who was open) both said Ameche was supposed to throw but didn't hear the call right. And without that blown play, this doesn't become the game that's being relived right now. It becomes a blowout.

I can't help if you don't have Tivo or a VCR. Don't read the thread until you see it yourself, then.

Besides that, how do you spoil a game that happened 50 years ago?

    (The Colts win =P)

What is that thing on Bob Wolff's head?
Seriously, though, wonder why the Mannings didn't participate?

    ESPN might change outcome anyway

ESPN set it up on the bottom line today as if it was a game that was going to happen tonight.

First was "'58 COLTS '58 GIANTS 9 ET ESPN"

Then there was a scroll about how the Giants won earlier in the season and that Unitas missed that game.

No Gifford jerseys in the stands.

    Everyone is dressed for church

Gino Marchetti has that mailman look going with the white socks and black dress shoes

Most people probably didn't bother the change after church. And I don't know what kind of stuff you could get in thise days if you were a fan. Maybe caps, T-shirts and jackets. Getting stuff like jerseys and mini-helmets and such is pretty much a product of the 1990's. I had an Oilers replica jersey in the 80's but I don't think you could get the real thing anywhere even then.

Hey, I'm still trying to figure out a running thread on a game played 50 years ago.
