Gawker: New Yorker whiz kid Jonah Lehrer steals from himself; others

    I can understand The New Yorker being upset with this situation. They are paying him to fill space in their magazine with new stuff and he is giving them recycled stuff. If you thought you had purchased a new car and got a used one instead, you would be upset too.

    But this seems to me to be more of an issue between an employer and an employee than it is a matter of employee ethics. If the New Yorker pooh-bahs think they have not been getting their money's worth, they should fire the guy. If his "recycled stuff" is still good enough to draw readers in the numbers that the pooh-bahs expect, then maybe they take him aside and have a private chat with him and all of this blows away.

    Just my 2 cents...
