Gas ...

  1. ... was up about 20 cents per gallon in my neck of the woods two days after the election. This happening anywhere else?

    Went up the day before the elections here.

    It's creeping up slowly. Up an average of about 5 cents.

    But I'm not surprised.

    Now that the Dems will have control of both houses of Congress, Big Oil will tread verrrrrryyyyyy carrreeeefullllyyyy on hiking prices. Next time they get hauled in before a committee to testify, they WILL be sworn.

    Up a dime the day after. I laughed as I told my wife that morning, "Betcha gas went up this morning."

    It actually was down at some of the big-name stations here, and up at the cheaper no-name places I usually go. Haven't checked today, tho.

    It went down here, by about 6 cents.

    It's up in Blue states, down in Red states.

    Gas up about .15 here prior to the elections.
