    I'd also like to see more big soccer matches overseas. My girlfriend's been to London a few times, and I hope to get on the next flight with her and pubcrawl my face off and watch some soccer — but I won't call it "soccer" to their faces.

    British Open, Masters...any golfing major up the coast from me at Pebble Beach. Already planning a sojourn there for 2010 US Open.

    Second that. Did the schools ever play a regular season game when Roy was at KU?

    No. I believe the only meeting was Kansas' victory in the 1991 national semifinals in Indianapolis. Dean Smith was ejected from the game.

    That was a whale of a game with a great finish, but it was the second best story of the night.

    Well, if you watch ESPN, I think they do play 162 times a year.

    The other little event dwarfed Dean getting tossed. Pete Pavia was out of line, though. Dean did nothing to justify his ejection.
