Furloughs in Newark

    Being newly hired means being in position to get furloughed, which means they're in a better position than a lot of former journalists who can't seem to get hired again at all.

    I think furloughs are unfortunate, but they're way better than just about any other giveback or loss one could incur. Just use that unpaid week wisely and file for unemployment.
