Is there anyone left to furlough?

  5. Give sports the week of the ACC Tournament off. After all, it's in Atlanta, not Greensboro, so no need to cover it.

I am sure management fucks will want to hear no excuses from sports editor schedule makers.
Sports Editor: How are we going to furlough NC State beat writer Kathy Jones for a week? Who will cover the team?
Management Fuck: Make it happen. And make sure she DOES NOT WORK that week. We can be sued if she writes a brief or calls in a tip. And make sure we do not get scooped despite that beat writer is off that week!
    Sports Editor: Uh, OK.

They aren't furloughing people for a week at a time. It's five days that will be stretched throughout the year. It still stinks, but at least the financial hit or scheduling hit aren't absorbed in one week.
