I drive by a Burger King virtually every day and today I noticed they were advertising two Whoppers for $5 and two with cheese for $6. (A buck for a couple slices of cheese?) I could swear no more than a year ago they were two for $3 and two for $4 around here. Then they went up to $3.50/$4.50, then $4/$5 then $4.50/$5.50. What a friggin rip off. I know prices on everything have went up but nothing has went up that much in the last year.

The more expensive it gets, the healthier you are.

You're getting awfully lecturey, Mr. Healthy.

Exactly. My Burger King boycott has lasted multiple years, now.
    Feel great about it.

So, don't keep us in suspense. Did you go with the cheese or without?

Burger King used to be my fast food burger choice. Now (now being the past 10 years), not so much.

    A thickburger owns a whopper.
    Burger King fries suck.
They couldn't pay me to eat there.

Burger King used to be my No. 1 go-to in college, especially the one near campus that served 99 cent Whoppers. If I added cheese and ordered the free water, I had a complete meal for $1.50, tax included.

Now it sucks worse than Moddy's would-be haiku.

    A thickburger rules
    Whopper doesn't measure up
    The french fries blow too

Blame gas prices. BK actually does their fries in petrol.

    What's a thickburger?

And yes, I know I could Google it, but sounds like it's something you feel strongly about, so nothing I Goggle would be such an impassioned endorsement ... so ... ?

(OK, I'm Googling, actually, but I still want to hear what you have to say)

Hardees. Heaven on a bun. I still prefer Steak and Shake.

I, of all people, agree with Moddy about the fries at BK. Absolutely terrible.

Otherwise, I'm going to pretend I didn't see this thread ... I suggest everyone does the same and let this die a quick death.
