    personal top 10 favorites:

    1. Dog Day Afternoon (a superb, nearly flawless flick, very underrated)
    2. Clerks (highly influential and a surefire classic)
    3. Pulp Fiction (a cinematic masterpiece)
    4. Swingers (one of the best guy films of all-time)
    5. Rocky (1 and 2 are basically one long movie, so put 'em together)
    6. 40 Year Old Virgin (funniest movie of this generation, quotes for days)
    7. Carlito's Way (hasn't aged very well, but it's a personal favorite)
    8. Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind (really surprised by this one. i saw it about a year ago and was blown away with the concept and how good the actual movie was)
    9. The Breakfast Club/Dazed and Confused (two movies about high school, both are fantastic in their own way)
    10. The Lion King (best animated film ever)

HONERABLE MENTION: Superman, Dumb and Dumber, The Departed, The Shawshank Redemption, The Squid and the Whale, Sin City

First, those two films originally were 9 and 10. Besides, outside of my top-3, the rest are subject to daily change.

Second, suck my balls, stalker. :D

Posted this over at the other thread so I'll post it here as well:

Well, here's my list, not in any particular order

    1)Chinatown

    2) Casablanca

    3)Godfather

    4) Godfather 2

    5) Deer Hunter

    6)Apocalypse Now

    7) Annie Hall

    8 Goodfellas

And two not on the list

    9) Diner

    10) Once Upon a Time in America--the original 3 1/2 hour version of Sierra Leone's film, not the 2 hour version butchered for American theatrical release. Brilliant movie.

And even as a kid, I HATED "Gone With the Wind"
