Great start to a new season. Lots of twists. I just watched it yesterday.
No Street in the first episode. I wonder how long before we see him.

Yeah, that was a little surprising. I'm anxious to see what direction they've taken him.

After getting a little turned off last season (Landy killing the guy, for example), I thought this first episode was back to the good stuff.

DirecTV had the actor who plays Matt Saracen in the studio of Sunday Ticket's Red Zone Channel at halftime yesterday. I thought that alone demonstrated better promotional savvy then NBC showed in two years.

Every time I watch the Redskins and the announcer talks about Landry making the tackle, I think of the kid from the show and laugh.

Honestly, I like his character, but he was almost too involved in the second season for my taste.
He is gonna have a little Street running around by now. That was more than nine months ago more or less.

Didn't they say Street and Smash are leaving?

I think this was Smash's send-off, expect for maybe a cameo or two.

We'll see Street soon enough for his own goodbye show.

Smash & Street will be in four episodes each.

What do you guys think will happen with JD McCoy? Will they move Saracen?

Gold star to Madhavok for posting that link. It's greatly appreciated.

There's a bunch of good TV blogs out there. I read Alan Sepinwall at nj.com & the ones from the LA Times are good as well.
