    Sports Editor


    • Sports Editor of the Observers, which includes five weekly newspapers. I cover 10 public high school sports programs, writing season previews, game recaps and features throughout the year. I oversee a staff of one photographer and one sports writer. I also utilize twitter well, have now more than 1,200 followers and live tweet all sporting events I cover.

    • Previously was sports editor covering the communities of Tomball and Magnolia. I covered four public high schools and two private schools.

    • Have covered the Houston Texans since 2014. I also have covered the Houston Astros, MLB playoffs, the NCAA Division I Baseball Regional, and 2015 NCAA Men’s Sweet 16 and Elite Eight in Houston.

    Freelance Experience January 2015 - Present

    • I have done work for the Associated Press, including covering the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Awards, SWAC Championship game and multiple press conferences as well.
