Seems like more would buy the book now. The News Corp works in many strange ways.

Perhaps its motive is, you know, reporting the news.

    I know, call me crazy.

I think that depends on whatever the next phase of this is. Is he called out as a liar or exaggerator by his former Team 6 mates? Does someone come forward and say "This guy's role was nothing. He's embellishing his importance."

    Fascinating stuff.

    Is it?

No one said they can't. They can use pseudonyms all they want. But that isn't classified information. If I found out George Eliot was really a woman, I could tell anyone I wanted.

His publisher didn't out him. I presume they made a deal with him. No one else did. Anyone else who finds out who it is is 100 percent free to spill it to the world.

I'm curious about the motivation to write the book. Is there an axe to grind or was this just done as a way to raise money for the families of SEALS that have been killed in action?

If the book has any kind of agenda, it loses credibility.

Oh, and don't tell anyone, but...

Dr. Seuss isn't really a doctor.

    That's an interesting point.

The way I recall it, Klein was outed rather quickly.

He wrote a book for profit and he could be prosecuted for it. It's newsworthy. No problem IMO with them outing him - if they're correct.

January 16th, to July 17th, according to Wiki:

I would have guessed it took about a year, going from memory, but it definitely wasn't quick.

Klein was outed in print no later than February:

But I'm pretty sure it was even earlier than that that Clinton said publicly that it was Klein.
