SJ fav Fox News has once again won the annual ratings battle in the cable news segment.
Their amount of viewers is almost double that of PMSNBC and CNN combined.

I get the highlights of Fox News from watching the Daily Show. The great ratings are well-earned. There is no funnier show on television than Fox News and their War On Christmas segments are comedy gold.
    Kudos to them.

They're excellent at what they do to generate ratings. Not honorable, IMO, but efficient.

Owning the radio waves helps. It's nothing but a FNC echo chamber.

    from the article:
According to Nielsen data through Dec. 8, Fox News Channel averaged 1.774 million viewers in primetime (down 13% from 2012) and 297,000 adults 25-54 (down 30%). It was followed by MSNBC with 645,000 viewers and 203,000 adults 25-54 (down 29% in both); CNN with 578,000 (down 15%) and 187,000 adults 25-54 (down 16%); and HLN with 403,000 total viewer (up 21%) and 142,000 in the demo (up 27%).

So all this hullubullu is over three million dopes watching this shit per night. About one percent of the population. And by the demographics, most are old farts who will be dying sometime in the next decade.

Looks to me like 99% of the country actually has some taste and discrimination.

Drudge is the assignment editor for talk radio and FOX. If you want to know what they'll be talking about later in the day, look at Drudge in the morning.

Fox News is as good at cheap trolling as your Buzzfeeds and Upworthys.

Obama-hate sells incredibly well. Fox News kicked the living hell out of the others in 2009 too.

    Exactly.
Less than 700,000 adults 25-54 watch FOX,CNN & MSNBC combined.

In the 1st week of December 1.7 million people watched Jimmy Fallon's show and it was all repeats.

2.5 million people watch repeats of the The Big Bang Theory on TBS when Hannity is on FoxNews.

Fox, MSNBC and CNN don't just preach to the choir, they merely preach to the Choir's director and his mother

Regardless of political spin, MSNBC is a trainwreck now. Ed Schultz was involved in a Twitter war with labor reporters over his refusal to come out and support a unionization effort by writers the other day. Rush Limbaugh would have sprouted wood over some of the shit he said.

99% of the country doesn't give a shit. 99.7% of the country under 60 don't give a shit.

    1. The predictable result of the right-wing corporatist media conspiracy.

    2. There are a lot of goddamn idiots in the U.S. happy to believe any paranoid delusional crap pumped into their skulls.

Hey The New York Times pumps a lot of waste out there also. See Miller, Judith for
    example.

The issue is that too many are to lazy or do not have the ability to think on their own
    or properly disseminate information.
