Well, we know where the Married With Children producers got the family's name from, at least.

Seriously, this does sound like a good job. It's a Fox-owned station, so resources won't be an issue.

This is a station that will lead their nightly newscast with an announcement that the new Victoria's Secret catalog is now available, Hef had a gigantic party at the Mansion, and their SPECIAL REPORT: Hookers on Hollywood Boulevard.
And in other news: The U.S. invades Iraq, North Korea is reported to have nuclear weapons and Osama bin Laden criticizes Americans on a new video.

The weekday sports anchor, Rick Garcia, is a good guy, as is the sports producer -- Rod Cohen, who I assume, would be your de-facto supervisor.

While SoCalDude is right with their news judgment, their sports folks get out a lot. You wouldn't be trapped inside the studio, like some of your cohorts at other LA area stations.

Serious even if they sugar coat some of the news, being a Sports Anchor and reporter in the second largest media market in the country got to mean something.
