Apparently, they dug up bodies to make room for other people. Pretty disgusting.

This is amazing for Illinois. Don't they know there are plenty of other places in Chicagoland to bury bodies? They've been doing it for years...

What hasn't been reported is that the bodies they dug up were sold to people in Wisconsin.

Actually, this is pretty common. When a cemetery runs out of room -- no more money. So lot's of times you might find out that more than one person is buried in a grave, or that folks never actually got buried, etc.

In New Orleans, that was a common practice for a long time. They can't bury folks in the ground there, so they have the above-ground tombs. Usually, they're built with several family members in mind. So when another family member died, they'd add to the tomb. If there was no more room, they'd just open the tomb, push the old body over a bit, and stack the next one in there. It's not uncommon for tombs down there to have two and three bodies to a slot.

    Supposedly Till's grave is undisturbed.

Surprised Jesse Jackson was out there making such a fuss and hoping the perps had a special place in hell -- especially since the four arrested are all African-American. Glad to see Jesse is color-blind on this one.
