If the extent of one's activities is limited to merely viewing, I'm not sure one should be put in prison. There are plenty of people who actually DO things of a sexual nature and get less.

That being said, I wouldn't want to be the bitch who snitched on the guy, one way or the other.

  2. "snitch[ing]"? on child porn? are you for serious? child porn is child porn. reprehensible. it wasn't one visit to a site where the 16-year-old girls look 18. it was child porn, hundreds of images. yet you're saying someone shouldn't have snitched?

Mark - Do you really think the person who snitched on him is a bitch? Oh my.....

There is never any justification for viewing child porn, and I'm saying that as someone who worked with Jim Cnockaert and thought very highly of him. He always treated me well.

I'm not justifying what he did or did not do. I'm saying that if something isn't affecting you personally, keep your damn mouth shut. I once worked with someone who stole things routinely. His business, his problem. I didn't condone it, but I'm not going to start reporting people either.

Let us know where you live, so we don't move there. OR can move away.

Not everybody is a perfect person in this world. I mean, everyone does ... kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me.

Was he ever in trouble for looking at pron when he was at Bristol?
Why did the article list Bristol as his place of residence when the judge and everything else was in Montana?
Did the paper do the article because of the Bristol connection or because he was a former employee?
Does this mean if I ever get in trouble, one of my former shops will write an article about me?
    This whole thing smells.

After he left the paper in Montana, he landed at Bristol. The charges were brought when he was working in Bristol, though he broke the law in Montana.

When a matter affects me directly, I will deal with it. When it does not affect me directly, I keep my nose out of it.

I get the idea of keeping your nose out of somebody else's problems, but if somebody is participating in the abuse of children how can you sleep at night if you don't report it?

You've got to be kidding. If you know someone is stealing, you're going to ignore it?
