How are you holding up with the Blizzard of 06?

Started raining Thursday afternoon here.........got about 3-4 inches of rain..........finally quit about 6 Friday evening.........then freezing rain/sleet/ice til 5 Saturday afternoon..........then 5-6 inches of snow til about Midnight Sunday.......now, screaming winds at about 35 MPH.

I haven't left the Casa de Chef since Friday afternoon.........and I have no desire to as well..........

    I'm in the same boat.
Know a little joint about 30 miles away that sells it on Sunday, though.
Snow's supposed to end by noon.
I'll brave the elements and make the trek.

No real man allows himself to live somewhere where he needs to trek 30 miles just to pick some up on a Sunday :D :D

    I have the beer.
What I'm lacking is a TV to watch football.
But mostly, I'm going just to be around people. :)

It snowed 30 inches here, with more predicted for today. I can get around town, but the one road out is closed.

Iowa is finally expected to get some real winter storms this afternoon. Currently it's west of Webster City and have already went through Council Bluffs and the western portion of the state.

You say this like it's a good thing. Would you like to come over and dig me out? :)

High temperatures in the mid 50's today, plus liquor stores are open today since it's new year's. I think Mother Nature has an east coast bias.

55 here, too, but rainy. Mother Nature might like the south, too.
