Bush lied/people died/blah blah blah, huh? Hardly sounds like the tabloid story of the hour to me. A wee bit more important than a blowjob, IMHO.

I don't watch Olbermann (though I think he's great, I just don't watch much MSNBC), but that line struck me as an odd way to describe the war in Iraq.

 

That's the only time I'll listen to sports radio.

 

I'm not so sure about that. We'll find out when the time comes. My guess is, he won't.

I do listen to him with Patrick on ESPN Radio. He's a smart guy who knows more about baseball than a majority of us.

His obsession with O'Reilly is a little over the top. I can't stand the guy, either, but when you talk about it every night, it does get a little old.

 

I'd argue that it's O'Reilly that has the obsession. Anyone who cuts off a caller who just mentions the name and then threatens the guy with a visit from Fox Security is obviously a paranoid, obsessive person. All, Keith does is just a little prodding.

You're right about O'Reilly. It's painful _ way too painful _ to watch him as well.

 

The only thing that will stop Bill O is Bill O. I think he has an Imus-like meltdown someday.

And Olbermann has to make sure he does not become his own worst enemy again.

He's a public buffoon already. KO can take some credit for that, but not as much as Andrea Mackris can.

 

I like Olberman, politically. And he's a very smart guy, for sure.

But he's suck a putz and ego-whore that he often leaves me embarrassed that we share the same alma mater, much as I'm sure Berman leaves Brown alums similarly glum.

 

The fact that the Bush administration has lied at nearly every turn about nearly everything to do with the motivations behind the Iraq invasion, and the fact that thousands of American servicemen and -women have died as a result of those repeated lies, is not a "tabloid news" topic.
