Come on down, Jimbo Fisher ... the AP update

An academic cheating scandal could leave Florida State without as many as 25 players when the Seminoles go against Kentucky in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 31.
‘‘We have some players not traveling for one reason and some for another, including those who are ineligible for the bowl because of academic issues,’’ coach Bobby Bowden said in a statement released by the university Tuesday.’’
Bowden put the number of players involved in the 25-player range. Many of the players could also be ruled ineligible for some games next season for their connection to the cheating scandal earlier this year.
Federal privacy laws prohibit the school from releasing names.

Our Latest Line just moved, still has UK as a two-point favorite.

You gotta think this thing is off the board.

This obviously costs FSU the game, however, it isn't going to be easy for Kentucky to game plan as they have no idea who will take the field for FSU.

Having watched FSU quite a bit this year, I don't think it matters

True ... I'm hoping Jimbo and the incoming top five recruiting class will start to right the ship.

This is probably the only school in the nation that does this.

That game was off the board several days ago - that some suspensions were coming had been known for a couple of weeks, although not this quantity of guys. It was definitely not on the Vegas board anywhere Saturday - trust me, I was looking.

    Bowden has no morals anymore.

He gave up policing his team a long time ago.

There's a reason his kids run wild there, and Mr. Fat Guy would prefer that you restrict your questions to his coaching legacy.

Hell, he stopped calling his players by name years ago. He just points and yells about uniform numbers now.

"Hey, 46, come up to the tower and talk to me. .... Umm, what's your name, son? Don't remember it correctly now, but, if I do recall, your mama sure did fry up some nice okra.

"Oh, baby, that was some good okra. Now go out there and get 'em, boy."

Didn't Peter Warrick get an 'A' in that class?

A new class at Florida State: How to get rich by helping the football team cheat, errr, study.

He stopped calling the kids by their names in 1980. Nothing new. Any school that allows internet classes is begging for a cheating scandal. I'm sure FSU is the only school that has this problem. As Jemelle would say, RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.
