Flat-earther forgets to attach parachute to rocket - dies.

    Yep. The agency that hasn’t put astronauts into space since 2011 and gets gouged by the Russians.

    Actually, Evel’s failed Snake River Canyon jump failed in a similar way - parachute opening during the launch off the rail.

    In Evel’s case, he was fortunate, unlike this doof, in that his chute didn’t DETACH from the vehicle.

    It's possible I may be killed some day. I know how it won't happen.
    You can't really make out what people are saying in the video because of the wind, but would suck to be standing there watching, knowing the parachute was off. From the moment the chute came off, there was only ever going to be one outcome, and everyone just had watch for however many seconds it took.

    As for the flat earth nonsense, that one blows my mind. Of all idiotic conspiracy theories, it's the easiest one to disprove. The internet has made people dumber, not smarter.
