Fire on plane in flight bound for JFK

If you had any idea how many "incidents" planes go through daily, you'd never fly, for sure. But they are fixed and you're on your way. Still, and will be, the safest form or travel available

 

I'm not too worked up about it. I've flown twice since July and really enjoy the whole process.

Plane incidents get magnified because they're so rare.

 

ByDesign, you never answered my question on the "Latest Movies ..." thread about how come Delta showed us the same movie ("Grownups") both ways from LAX to Maui and back, one week apart in the same month.

There was probably a mix up with the equipment. Depending on the type plane (probably a 767) and its age, that all runs off dvds. So someone may have forgotten to switch the dvds or something like that.
