    Thing is one of the faces of that lawsuit was Mark Nordenberg, chancellor, University of Pittsburgh, and UConn wasn’t even a football member yet and wasn’t part of the lawsuit.

    How much of the payment is the athletic department actually covering? In many cases I think athletic departments are losing money even before they make the mortgage payment and the school has to bail them out.

    The original ACC expansion was supposed to be BC, Miami and Syracuse.

    Then the folks in Richmond got in a tizzy and VT was a late replacement for Syracuse.

    In retrospect, a very smart decision, considering VPI's football success during the years before Syracuse's inclusion.
