I voted Seinfeld, but Simpsons is a close second. If the vote was several years ago, I might have voted the other way. Simpsons was a great, great show its first several seasons.
Was a fan of Arrested Development, but I'm not sure it's in the same league. Although I guess I'd pick it over many of the shows on this list.
There are two shows that are hugely popular that I really hate. One is Scrubs, and the other is House. I think both really, really suck. I think that Miller Lite "Commish" guy who plays the doctor on Scrubs is the reason I can't watch. HATE that guy.

Arrested Development shined so brightly for such a short period of time.

For extended greatness, I gave the nod to South Park. I do not think enough people on this board have given the show a fair viewing.

Malcolm in the Middle? It's, at best, the third best show on FX in the afternoon (behind King of the Hill and That 70's Show).

    Futurama > Family Guy

Wings was in the 90s, so Wings should be on the list.

God as my witness, I will NEVER get Seinfeld the way its fans do. If I wanted to watch a show about nothing, I'd sell NBC the rights to my future.

Voted Seinfeld, but think Frasier and Friends belong in the discussion.

Friends is about as funny as a thread about Israeli-Palestinian relations.

If you're just talking about quality of humor, the answer here is Coupling, the UK version. That more people haven't checked out the first couple seasons of this show is a crime.

If you're talking re-watchability, it's Seinfeld, no doubt.

If you're talking consistency, it's South Park.

If it's about overall epicness, it's the Simpsons.

If you're looking for best series, beginning-end, the start and end of the list is Arrested Development.
