Fighting a stop light violation in Ohio

    Yeah, spike, please be more like hondo. Jeez.
    And congrats on the outcome. Technically you were in the wrong, but you were not endangering anyone and it was a split-second decision. Since I got my ticket for doing that (in the rain, so it was really a tough call to think I could stop), I have been a lot more cautious approaching lights.

    How can something not make any money, but be a greedy, money-making thing?

    Toledo, Ohio had some issues with its red light cameras over the past few years.
    When introduced, they caught a lot of people running the lights. However, the infraction was listed as a civil matter and offered no appeal process, so many people just refused to show up to the hearings and didn't pay the fines.
