Female Wizards coach making $10,000?!

    Kristi Toliver, an N.B.A. Assistant Who’s Paid Like an Intern

    This is obviously wrong. But why do women ever agree to salaries like this, knowing their counterparts are paid much-much more?

    Similarly - why do journalists accept $50-$75 for a story when it's not even minimum wage for the work required?

    Good story...but there's a lot more to it than the headline. It is a CBA issue, one that Im sure the WNBA were not unhappy to see in The New York Times. Smart move.

    Why would she? Why do we routinely read about NFL coaches who cut their teeth making nothing as interns doin video work and fetching coffee because they wanted to start somewhere?
