Give me the 20-year-old who did it for six months, not four. A historic season.

give me the catcher, I'll win. The game doesn't care how old you are & neither should the voters. Is Jamie Moyer your Cy Young?

    Heyward -- .277 average, .393 OBP, .456 slugging, .849 OPS ... 18 HR, 72 RBI

    Mickey Mantle age 20: .311 BA; .394 OBP, .530 SLG, .924 OPS... 23 HR, 87 RBI
    Ted Williams age 20: .327 BA, .439 OBP, .609 SLG 1.045 OPS .. 31 HR, 145 RBI

    Historic how?

The guy's vote was fine and so was his logic. Don't know if I'd leave Posey off my ballot entirely, but he just doesn't think 115 games is enough to earn his vote. Fair enough.

Minor clarification - Longoria was playing full time as of April 12, 2008.

The fact that you're going back to Mantle and Williams, that says a lot.
