I'll predict that I'll be happy as hell when the damn week of hype is over and the game ends. I'm in the small minority of people who aren't big pro football fans.

"Hey Tank Johnson, you just won the Super Bowl. What are you going to do now?"
"I'm going to jail Walt Disney World ... if the judge lets me."

Ah, a Super Bowl thread wouldn't be complete without a spnited slam on Tank Johnson. ::)

    Colts 27, Bears 24

Grossman actually had a good day. 250 yards, couple of TDs. Colts running game, not Manning, figures in decisive touchdown.

    Bears 31 Colts 27

The day after the Colts-Patriots game, someone who knows how I think, e-mailed me and wrote, "I had a nightmare last night. Peyton Manning was holding the Super Bowl trophy and crying."

I don't know if my pick is wishful thinking, but I'm sticking with it.

Colts win 35-21, which means I win $400 in a friend's office squares pool.

I predict that I will tape the game to speed through and watch the commercials. Otherwise, I will not watch it.
