Hard to disagree with that, but JMU has also beaten four Top 10 teams this year. Two of those have come on the last play of the game, but still.

I smell letdown against Delaware this week.

If the Blue Hens are smart, they'll slow the game down and run, run, run. JMU's best linebacker is out, and that defense is soft against the run lately.

Furman a couple years back might disagree with you.

Didn't say it never happens. I said the committee tries to keep the teams relatively close for the first round.

Not to mention that JMU also won at Maine, which is receiving votes (28th this week).

Is Central Arkansas even eligible for the Southland title yet? They sure got successful in I-AA fast. (And I ain't switching from I-AA, dammit.)

They have two more years on probation.

eligible for the Southland title, yes, but not for a postseason berth.

Their QB -- Nate Brown -- is a stud.

Youngstown State needs to blow up the entire program.

yes, I know that. I also know that with the majority of the teams in a small area once again, someone's going to get the short end of the stick.
Liberty will travel to a playoff game, and everyone who makes the FBS playoff decisions knows that.
