    My luck, a d_b, but CNN is reporting the FBI is investigating 26 companies.

    One of the analysts just said "I can guarantee people will be going to jail."

    That was John Fund, from the Wall Street Journal. The early ledes are reporting four companies are being investigated, but the guys on Anderson Cooper said 26 companies are being investigated for fraud.

    So I guess the question is this, do these companies, and the people being investigated, have $7 billion in assets?

    Even if they don't have that much, and I doubt they do, the feds need to take every single dime from everyone found guilty. Take every last asset -houses, cars, boats, everything - and put it towards the cost of the "bailout".

    These fucks and their families need to be living in a van down by the river when the government is through with them.

    First decent story I could find googling: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=acZBwgNm6Uxc&refer=home

    I'm not at work tonight, so no wire to post anything from AP.

    Yes, as through this world I've wandered
    I've seen lots of funny men;
    Some will rob you with a six-gun,
    And some with a fountain pen.

    And as through your life you travel,
    Yes, as through your life you roam,
    You won't never see an outlaw
    Drive a family from their home.
