    That's nothing. In 2004, the same station was showing Mississippi State-Florida, and Zook was about to get Croomed. But no one in Knoxville saw it because they switched over to Alabama-Tennessee (which was the CBS game).

    So you thing the CBS affiliate in Knoxville messed up by going live to the Alabama-Tennessee game?

    No, they messed up when they bid on the JP rights knowing full-well the games — scheduled exactly three hours apart when most college games last between 3:15-3:30 — would overlap 99.9 percent of the time.
