Agreed. The Auburn -6 line will be played this weekend.

Auburn would be scary for me to bet on. They're unstoppable on offense until and unless Cam Newton gets hurt, at which point they are utterly and completely screwed.

You place your bets based on the possibility of injury? I'm guessing you never bet.

I'm hearing a lot of this . . . yet the line remains 6. Suspect that LSU
will show up, and very possibly win. The Newton Heisman hype seems
just a tad overblown, at this point.

No more than Denard Robinson's hype was overblown the first couple weeks of the season. That's how it goes.

But you do make a valid point on the line remaining at 6 all week. I still think Auburn wins by 7-10, but that's definitely in the back of my mind.

I expect the last team with the ball will win, which makes +6 more than
    a little tasty.

Fair enough. I hope it's a good game, but I just think that, while Auburn's defense isn't great, LSU's offense is so awful as to make Auburn's defense look decent. I've went back and forth all week with score predictions. Now, I'm thinking 31-20. Shit. Then again, it could be 17-6.

Expect LSU will coax a couple more turnovers than most expect, which will
tighten this baby up, nicely. Been wrong before, but IMO.

Just because Iowa State needs some love: http://barkingcarnival.fantake.com/2010/10/20/a-message-from-jamie-pollard/

I'm with Batman. No way Auburn hangs 40 on this LSU team. Yeah, Auburn threw up 65 last week, but the Tigers only scored 34 against Kentucky. And LSU's defense is quite a bit better than Kentucky's.

LSU has the speed and talent to mix it up and give Newton looks he didn't see in Lexington or against Arkansas.

Tornado-burping Skeletor might have to become a Fantasy Team name soon.

If you want to be a farmer, go to Iowa State.

If you want to own the farm, go to Iowa.
