The Cougs will win this week if they can stop the rush. Cal's backup QB sucks.

Is Hostess the corporate sponsor for SEC football this Saturday? Will GameDay take a shot as the league like it did at the Big 10 for the Big-10/MAC Challenge earlier this year?

    Idaho State at Georgia
    Chattanooga at Auburn
    Charleston Southern at Kentucky
    UL-Lafayette at Ole Miss
    Tennessee at Memphis

The CFB equivalent of a pit stop.

Next best thing to an open week for Auburn and Georgia, who play each other next week. Ditto for Tennessee and Mississippi. Both Tennessee and Memphis are bad enough to make that game compelling. I wouldn't look at it as a cupcake for Tennessee.

Memphis is really, really bad, whereas Tennessee is just bad. I set the over-under on turnovers at seven.

That's true this year, for sure. Tennessee sucks outloud. Hard to believe players who look that good getting off the bus can be that bad.

At least Texas beat a ranked opponent (Nebraska), one that might make a BCS bowl this season. I would be surprised if Tennessee can do the same.

Texas didn't beat them as much as Nebraska beat themselves. Four dropped TD passes in a game UT won by seven.

Hatch has been scratching this itch for a good while, for obvious reasons.

Yeah, but a DOJ investigation, while probably a longshot, would at least get the attention of the BCS

And it will disappear as soon as one of Hatch's aides reminds him Utah is about to join the Pac-10.
