Favorite Movie-TV Cameo

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by Evil ... Thy name is Orville Redenbacher!!, Jun 22, 2011.

  1. Since we are doing best ending, beginnings, montage, nude scene, key grip and best boy... What the hell, what's your favorite movie-tv celeb cameo appearance?

Mine is Matt Damon in Eurotrip. I laughed like hell... Love the fact everybody was singing "Scotty Doesn't Know"

Is it a cameo when Jan Wenner was in Almost Famous?

I think this one set the gold standard. Marshall McCluhan in Annie Hall.

Vonnegut in Back To School was pretty good.

Favre in Something about Mary, Lee Trevino in Happy Gilmore, Kareem in Airplane!

Damon in Eurotrip is a good one...

Does Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder count?

The new X-Men movie has a nifty one which I won't spoil for anyone who has yet to see it.

The intro to the last Austin Powers movie was pretty amazing/hilarious.

Tom Cruise is brilliant (as is everyone else) in Tropic Thunder. Great movie.

Not so much a cameo as a guest spot, but Brad Pitt was great on Friends.

    Pitt on Friends was great...

Suzanne Pleshette on Newhart was an all-timer.

To me, the best thing he's ever done.

    Some others:

Sammy Davis Jr. on All In The Family

Howard Hesseman, Bruno Kirby, Ed Begley Jr. and Paul Shafer in Spinal Tap
