    There were a few different leadins for the Lumberjack Song
    One was the petshop/dead parrot sketch:

    Another was the murdering barber sketch:

    don't know which one came first

    The barber came first since that is from the BBC show. The dead-parrot lead in is from the movie "Now For Something Completely Different" where the chaps redid all their famous sketches
