A fan just fell out the second deck at Arlington during the Indians-Rangers game.

Indians announcer is shaken up after watching it.

    Silent ballpark.

What did he do? Reach for a ball? Tumble down steps?

Don't know yet. They've cleared the field and obviously, they aren't showing a replay of it.

They didn't show it live either. Both teams were ordered off the field. STO still in extended commercial break.

Saying he reached for a foul ball and went over.

This kind of thing happens every now and then ... why the stoppage in play? Did the guy land on the field?

Unbelievably, the guy is not dead. They've taken him off on a stretcher. Nolan Ryan is down there talking to some people near the field.

    Weird, weird situation.

No net. Down past first base.

I think everyone assumed the guy was dead. Justin Masterson dropped down to pray the moment it happened.

He probably fell about 20 feet. The fans he landed on appear OK (and probably absorbed the impact).

They just announced play will resume in 5 minutes.

Yeah, in hindsight, it wasn't as far as Matt Underwood of STO made it sound. He made it sound as if the guy fell out of the upper deck and splattered onto the concrete...
