Great stuff. I have expected Giant Chicken to show up.

 

The joke was funny, then got to the point where it wasn't. Then it was overdone so much it became funny again. Loved it.

 

See, that's the problem with Family Guy for me (and I'm still a faithful viewer). The overdone-joke gag just comes so often - Giant Chicken, Surfin' Bird, Peter wincing over and over again after falling down, etc. It's a lazy way to fill up air time and it's almost like a "Fuck you" to the viewers.

Or maybe I just have different taste in FG than everyone else.

 

Same way -- loved the Office Space bit.
And, "Jesus H. Christ, look at you!"

The Office Space reference was great.

The bird joke? Not even funny the first time.

I'm a big fan of Seth MacFarlane, but this is not the first episode that was a big giant whiff. And given how most of the episodes run out of gas in the third act, I've always thought he was better-suited for a Robot Chicken-type show on Comedy Central, where he could just make consistently hilarious 15-minute episodes.

But hell, he got $100 mil. I'd keep making 20 minutes of funny and 10 minutes of suck too.

 

Neither of the videos posted are still active. Oh well.

The part with Cleveland walking into the diner?

Predictable, saw it coming a mile away.

Still laughed my ass off.

And the bit where Jesus granted that little "favor" for Peter at the dinner table? Brian's reaction was f*cking awesome! hahahahahahahaha
