    I have 54, but that counts people who I know outside the board who are members here but don't post.

    I got recently added by someone on facebook.
    I assume it was an SportsJournalists.commer but I don't know.
    I'm in that public group, I guess, and I didn't know about a private group even though I'm pretty sure I saw something that looked Stan, the cat.

    something about board members and friends who don't post ... or maybe it's me not being able to wrap my head around that equation. and that's certainly possible.

    Any time I put in a friend request for an SportsJournalists.commer, I write "forever_town here" to ensure there's no confusion.

    If I don't know you by name and you're adding me, there's a much better than average chance I'm not adding you without a similar message.
