    My wife's company pays them a flat rate (rather than an hourly rate) for working overtime, commonly known as "Chinese overtime."

    There's a difference between a term that has racial meaning in it's origin - welsh on a bet or paddywagon, and those that have no racial element in their origins and are no misunderstood - niggardly and peanut gallery.
