Interesting that you posted that. Herman Goering, head of the Luftwaffe, had a nephew who was a pilot who flew bombing missions over Germany during WWII -- for the U.S. His co-pilot was Jewish and was ordered to take out Werner Goering if he tried to set down the plane and turn it over to the Germans.

I just spoke with the author of a book about that subject early last week. It's scheduled to be released March 13.

Kind of a neat story that the two top Nazi leaders both had family members fighting against them in WWII.
