Now I can get rich via my Facebook account. Check out this message I just received:

    Subject: Dear Harris,

Are you in anyway related to Mr. Stephen Harris, an American Businessman who died together with his entire family in Ghana four years ago from a ghastly car accident?

Since then his bank has tried hard to get in touch with his extended family members or even his friends to claim his C23million (27.9 million Ghana Cedis) which is approximately US$18.6 million.

In any case, whether you are related to him or not, let me know; perhaps with my influence, I will ensure the money is transferred to the US or any country of your choice in your name -- after all, you have a similar surname.

For security reasons, send me a mail via amissah.arthur@yahoo.com

Once I see your reply, I shall send you details of Stephen Harris.

Ask him to buy 50 SportsJournalists.com coffee mugs so you know he is legit.

I thought you were going to say that facebook had banned all political comments. (Too soon?)

Actually, I like the idea of everybody on here spamming the guy.

Better claim it fast before the dollar falls any more against the Cedis.

Thus giving him and his friends an even larger pool of verified e-mail addresses to sell to other spammers.

I'd send it from the address I only use when filling out forms online. You know, the one that only collects spam.

I wouldn't send it from my main email address.
