Maybe this belongs on the Journalism Board, but I thought it was a really well-done, getting-to-know-you feature on a guy who I respect more every time he opens his mouth:

I know nothing about this man, but my mom adores him simply because he founded the Huntsman games in St. George.

She heard him speak in DC and is really hoping he throws his hat into the ring.

We're back to The Jones? I thought we got away from that.
Chris Jones works just fine, thanks.

Fantastic work. Jonesy is on top of his game with that one.

He's in, but getting no traction in NH, which is realistically his only hope. I think he's out and Guiliani may be in before long.

Yeah, I read it a couple weeks ago and thought it was an outstanding piece. I think I even PM'd Jones my praise only to find out later that he can't log into that account anymore.

A lot can change between now and primary season. Here's hoping it changes for the better for Huntsman.

I thought Giuliani wouldn't enter the race if Perry did.

Maybe not -- his campaign manager just resigned.

Also, of the $4 million he's raised, $2 million is his own money. Not good.

Huntsman's dad, also named Jon Huntsman, founded the games.

I like a lot of things about Huntsman as well. But I can't for the life of me figure out why he decided to run for President in this cycle.

This election, one way or another, is going to be largely about Obama. And the Republican Party is committed to vehemently opposing Obama in every fashion. Mitt Romney is getting heat because Obamacare is based on the plan he put into place in Massachusetts.

Given that, how could Jon Huntsman possibly think that he could win amidst this Republican Primary electorate when he WORKED FOR OBAMA?

In 2016, when Obama (if re-elected) will be term-limited, I could definitely see it. But in this cycle? What was he thinking?

Sorry. It was a meta reference to the controversy. Thought enough time had passed to joke about it/incorporate it as an inside joke.
