Coughlin is higher than I thought he would be, but I have no argument against him. He is definitely a coach of the modern era where consistency doesn't matter as long as you reach the pinnacle.

My only gripe so far is Dungy.

The fact that Landry and Lombardi aren't even in the top 21 invalidates this opinion....c'mon.
Belichick is a known cheat who hasn't won anything when not spying.

Now let's list the five top GMs of all time.

    1. Jerry Jones.
    2. Jerry Jones.
    3. Jerry Jones.
    4. Jerry Jones.
    5. Jerry Jones.

All Cowboys haters I think would agree with me that as long as we let him think he's a great GM, the Cowboys will continue to the delight of all, suck.

    For the last time:

THIS IS A RANKING OF THE 21 COACHES WHO HAVE WON THE SUPER BOWL SINCE 1980!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lombardi was long since dead by 1980. Landry's last Super Bowl win was in January 1978.

    Down, boy.

Must be an ESPN thing, since sports started when the first broadcast from Bristol hit the air.

Well, it WOULD have helped had the list been labeled as such.

Or labeled as anything, for that matter.

It's easy for someone scrolling the thread for the first time to see the list, think "WTF?", and send a reply before coming to the "Now . . . here's what this list was supposed to represent" explanation.

I'm pleasantly surprised Johnson is ranked where he is. So when Dungy skirts into Canton next year maybe people can start griping about why Johnson isn't there already. I know he only coached nine seasons, but those four seasons in Miami look a little better now since just about every coach since then has shit the bed. I don't think he was ever below .500 in Miami.
